The City Service Administration has an important and exciting mission to deliver, coordinate, and develop services for residents and administrations in Mölndal City. The administration has approximately 550 employees and is organized into four operational areas: meals and cleaning, water and recycling, city maintenance, and support and customer service.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a custodian, you need to be service-oriented and put the customer first. We offer you a varied and independent job within an exciting organization that is constantly developing. As a custodian, you will perform tasks based on work orders in the city's various operations.

The role of custodian includes maintenance, cleanliness, and upkeep of the city's properties such as schools, preschools, and other facilities, as well as the vehicles and machinery used.

The position also involves assisting the organization with various types of tasks such as moving, transportation, some snow removal, and minor repairs within the properties. Additionally, you will handle recycling and assist the organization with purchases and orders.

All custodians are responsible, either individually or in groups, for different objects. Creating good contacts with students and customers is a prerequisite for succeeding in this work, as the operations are largely conducted in schools, preschools, and within healthcare and social services.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in technical or practical education at least at the high school level or experience that the employer deems equivalent.

• The position requires good computer skills and the ability to learn and work in new systems.
• A B driver's license is required, and experience with machinery is an advantage.

The position requires good physical fitness, and the work is carried out both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, with a strong emphasis on personal suitability.
